4. Install new rod wiper assembly (Figure 24, Item 2) on cylinder end (Figure 24, Item 1).
5. Lubricate rod wiper (Figure 24, Item 2) with hydraulic oil.

Retaining rings are under spring tension. Wear eye protection and use caution when
removing retaining rings. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
6. Install new retaining ring (Figure 25, Item 2) on cylinder end (Figure 25, Item 1).
