15. Remove two piston seals (Figure 9, Items 1 and 3) from piston (Figure 9, Item 4). Discard piston seals.
16. Remove wear ring (Figure 9, Item 2) from piston (Figure 9, Item 4). Discard wear ring.

17. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 10, Item 2) from piston rod (Figure 10, Item 1). Discard retaining rings.
