WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Rear hood weighs 96 lb (44 kg).
1. Install bolt (Figure 16, Item 1), washer (Figure 16, Item 2), and link bracket (Figure 16, Item 3) on rear
hood (Figure 16, Item 8).
NOTE
Use bolts and washers from step 17 in removal to install link brackets.
2. Install bolt (Figure 16, Item 6), link bracket (Figure 16, Item 7), washer (Figure 16, Item 4), and nut
(Figure 16, Item 5) on rear hood (Figure 16, Item 8).
3. Attach suitable lifting device to link bracket.
