NOTE
Ensure chains do not block brake drum on back side of wheel.
9. Attach suitable chains and lifting device to rear tire wheel assembly (Figure 3, Item 1).
10. Position drain pan under rear tire wheel assembly (Figure 3, Item 1).
WARNING
Gear oil will drain from hub when hub cap is removed. Wipe up spills immediately as fluid
can be very slippery. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to
personnel.
NOTE
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection,
maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid
with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any
component containing fluids.
Use a container to catch any fluid that may drain from hoses or system. Dispose of fluid
IAW local policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
