REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
DO NOT remove two differential retaining nuts (Figure 21, Items 1 and 6) when removing
transmission without differential.
61. Remove 18 nuts (Figure 21, Item 3) and washers (Figure 21, Item 2) from machine.
62. Remove four bolts (Figure 21, Item 4) and washers (Figure 21, Item 5) from machine.
63. With assistance, using lifting device remove transmission from machine.
64. Lower transmission to flat surface.
