(WP 0540), measure resistance
Replace fuse panel wiring harness
between connector W-C2
(WP 0515).

Install fuse F31 on circuit breaker panel
connector W-C8 terminal 30
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
(WP 0012, Figure 282).
Proceed to Test Step 10.
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
Replace main cab wiring harness
(WP 0505).
Install fuse F31 on circuit breaker panel
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
Proceed to Test Step 10.
Test Step 7. Test Replacement Fuse.
1. Install new fuse F31 on circuit
breaker panel
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10). Wait 30
seconds before proceeding.
3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. Remove fuse F31 from circuit
breaker panel
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
5. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Proceed to step 6.
(WP 0540), measure resistance
No Continuity DO NOT install fuse
between terminals of fuse F31.
F31 on circuit breaker panel. Proceed
to Test Step 8.
6. Install fuse F31 on circuit breaker
panel (TM 5-3805-296-10).
7. Connect connector H-C14
(WP 0012, Figure 227) to
connector VV-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 226).
8. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
9. Operate defrost fan in
low speed and high speed
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
10. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
11. Remove fuse F31 from
circuit breaker panel
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
