1. Remove jumper wire from
terminal 3 and terminal 6 of
connector H-C3 (WP 0012,

2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 2 and terminal 7 of
connector W-C22
(WP 0012, Figure 271).
3. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Replace fan speed switch (WP 0467).

Proceed to Test Step 38.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms

Replace main cab wiring harness
(WP 0505).

Test Step 30. Test Voltage to Air
Conditioner Wiring Harness.
1. Turn fan speed switch to
position O (TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. Disconnect connector W-C22
(WP 0012, Figure 271) from
connector CA-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 272).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
5. Turn fan speed switch to position II
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
6. Using digital multimeter
Voltage 18 to 26 V Proceed to Test
(WP 0540), test for voltage
