Current Above Normal Becomes
Inactive Proceed to step 4.
Normal Continued
1278-6 Apron Lower Solenoid
Current Above Normal Remains
Active Repeat troubleshooting from
the beginning.
4. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
5. If removed, install splash shield
(Figure 9, Item 4), four bushings
(Figure 9, Item 3), washers
(Figure 9, Item 2), and bolts
(Figure 9, Item 1) on machine.
6. If lowered, install left frame access
plate (WP 0376).
7. Install cover (Figure 8, Item 3), four
washers (Figure 8, Item 1), and
bolts (Figure 8, Item 2) on
machine.
8. Install hydraulic tube clamp
(Figure 7, Item 4), two washers
(Figure 7, Item 2), and bolts
(Figure 7, Item 3) on mounting
boss (Figure 7, Item 1) and
hydraulic tube (Figure 7, Item 5).
9. Troubleshooting complete.
NOTE
1278-13 Apron Lower
Solenoid Out of Calibration
Perform this test only if condition is active.
DIAGNOSTIC CODE SET CONDITION
Transmission/Chassis ECM Detects Apron Lower Solenoid Out of Calibration.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Apron Lower Solenoid Requires Calibration.
CAUTION
Failure to hold joystick in proper position during calibration will create
invalid test results.
