1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Do not remove jumper wire from
terminal 1 and terminal 2
of connector F-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 148).
3. Disconnect connector F-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 146)
from connector AE-C5
(WP 0012, Figure 145).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 3.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 8 and terminal 10
Replace implement wiring harness
(WP 0012, Figure 146).

Proceed to Test Step 6.

1. Remove jumper wire from terminal
1 and terminal 2 of connector F-C1

2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 8 and terminal 10
of connector AE-C5

3. Disconnect connector AE-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 144)
from connector E-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 143).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 4.
