EQUIPMENT LOWERING WITH ENGINE STOPPED

WARN I N G
Be sure all personnel are clear of machine while equipment is being lowered. The lift arms
can drop when lowering it with the engine stopped. Be sure no one is under or near the
machine before manually lowering the lift arms. Failure to follow this warning may result in
injury or death to personnel.
C AU T I O N
Lower equipment to ground slowly or damage to equipment may occur.
Lowering Equipment with Electrical Power

1. Turn ignition switch to on (I) position.
2. Push joystick forward to lower scraper bowl.
3. Move thumb lever left to close apron.
4. When implements have been lowered to ground, turn ignition switch to off (O) position.
Lowering Equipment without Electrical Power

1. Locate shutoff valve (Figure 5, Item 1) above tractor transmission.
2. Turn head of shutoff valve to the right (clockwise) to open valve.
3. When scraper bowl is lowered to ground and apron is closed, rotate head of shutoff valve to the left (counter-
clockwise) to close shutoff valve.
