Test 4.
Disconnect line and fitting from brake port on cross relief valve. Install test fitting and a
0-5,000 psi pressure gage. Start FRS. Have assistant operate SWING control lever to
attempt to swing clockwise and counter clockwise. Check for a minimum of 1,300 psi
(8,963 kpa) brake release pressure.
If pressure is within specifications, replace swing drive brake or swing drive
assembly. Refer to paragraphs 3-13, 6-5, 3-14, or 6-6.
If pressure is not within specifications, repair or replace the cross relief valve.
Refer to paragraph 3-32.
