Remove nut (5), washer (6) and wire (7)
from solenoid (4).

Remove three screws (8) and starter (9)
from engine (10).
b. Installation.
(1)
Install starter (9) on engine (10) with three
screws (8). Tighten screws to 32 lb–ft (43
N.m).
(2)
Install wire (7), washer (6) and nut (5) on
solenoid (4).
