Pads
a.
Inspect boom wear pads on crane boom
(1) for wear. Replace worn pads, notify
supervisor.
Boom wear pads
are worn.
b.
Lubricate boom wear pads with GAA,
perform the following procedures:
(1) Refer to TM 9-4940-568-10 and shut
off FRS.
(2) Remove cover (2) at rear of boom.
(3) Inject grease in front of each rear
(upper) wear pad.
