HEATER FAILS TO START OR DOES NOT STAY RUNNING (CONT).
Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death, keep fuel
away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel.
Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be ignited by hot engine.
Step 7. Heater may need to be primed.
Place drain pan under hose (1).
Loosen clamp (2) and remove hose (1) from heater (3).
Operate heater until entrapped air is bleed (Para 2-30).
Install hose (1) on heater (3) and tighten clamp (2).
Operate heater and check for leaks (Para 2-30).
If condition persists, notify Unit Maintenance.
