Removal
WARNING
Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death, keep fuel away
from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working with fuel. Do not work
on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be ignited by hot engine. When working with fuel,
post signs that read NO SMOKING WITHIN 50 FEET (15.24 m) of vehicle.

Place a suitable container (8 gal, 301) under valve (1).
(2)
Shut off fuel valve (1) by turning clockwise.
(3)
Loosen clamp (2) and remove hose (3) using a flat tip screwdriver. Allow fuel to drain from hose.
(4)
Open fuel valve (1) and allow fuel to drain from tank (4).
(5)
Remove valve (1) from tank (4) using a 11 mm open end wrench.
