LEFT FENDER BRACKET REMOVAL

WARNING
Parking brake must be released prior to beginning the following procedure. Failure to
follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
1. Place wheel chocks at front and rear of rear tractor tires and release parking brake
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Loosen lock bolt (Figure 9, Item 8) and rotate worm shaft (Figure 9, Item 7) until pin (Figure 9, Item 6) is loose.
3. Remove cotter pin (Figure 9, Item 5) and pin (Figure 9, Item 6) from slack adjuster (Figure 9, Item 9) and yoke
(Figure 9, Item 10) and rotate slack adjuster away from yoke. Discard cotter pin.
4. Support brake actuator (Figure 9, Item 1) and loosen two nuts (Figure 9, Item 11) on brake actuator.
5. Position brake actuator (Figure 9, Item 1) away from bracket (Figure 9, Item 4).
