REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use caution when removing front hood support. Use assistance during procedure. Keep
clear of heavy parts as they are raised and lowered. Failure to follow this warning may
result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Front hood support weighs approximately 240 lb (109 kg).
29. Install two link brackets (Figure 9, Item 3), washers (Figure 9, Item 1), and bolts (Figure 9, Item 2) on front hood
support (Figure 9, Item 4).
30. Install suitable lifting device on link brackets (Figure 9, Item 3).
31. Using lifting device and assistance, remove front hood support (Figure 9, Item 4).
32. Position front hood support (Figure 9, Item 4) on flat surface.
33. Remove two bolts (Figure 9, Item 2), washers (Figure 9, Item 1), and link brackets (Figure 9, Item 3) from front
hood support (Figure 9, Item 4).
