Test Step 7. Test Main Cab Wiring
Not Operate Continued
Harness for High Resistance or
Open.
1. Disconnect connector W-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 224) from
connector H-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 225).
2. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Replace headliner wiring harness
between connector W-C2 terminal
(WP 0497).
26 (WP 0012, Figure 224) and
Proceed to Test Step 14.
connector W-C1 terminal 29
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
(WP 0012, Figure 99).
Replace main cab wiring harness
(WP 0505).
Proceed to Test Step 14.
Test Step 8. Test for Shorted
Blackout Headlamp.
1. Turn mode switch on military light
switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch to
OFF position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. Disconnect connector T-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 194) from
blackout headlamp connector
(WP 0012, Figure 193).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
5. Turn mode switch on military light
switch to B.O. DRIVE position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
6. Observe BO tail lights
One or Both BO Tail Lights Operate
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
Replace blackout headlamp
(WP 0379).
Proceed to Test Step 14.
Both BO Tail Lights Do Not Operate
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Test Step 9. Test for Open Military
Light Switch.
1. Turn mode switch on military light
switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch to
OFF position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
