Cushion-hitch accumulator
Cushion-hitch accumulator functions as the shock absorber
for the cushion-hitch. Cushion-hitch accumulator maintains a
constant supply of hydraulic oil to the load cylinder. Sudden
shocks to load cylinder are cushioned to minimize vertical
movement of tractor.

Exhaust Pipe
Directs exhaust fumes away from machine.

Hydraulic Oil Tank
Stores hydraulic fluid for hydraulic system.

Battery Compartment
Stores machine batteries.

Final Drive Drain Plug
Provides means to drain final drive oil.

Transfer Gear
Engine power is transferred through the driveshaft to the
which delivers power to the transmission.

Transmission
The transmission delivers power to the differential and the
final drives. The transmission selects forward or rearward
direction, and gear speed for machine movement.

Load Cylinder
Head end of load cylinder is connected to hitch assembly
(tractor).
Rod end of load cylinder is connected to bracket assembly
(scraper).
Hydraulic cylinder moves weight of scraper off the hitch
assembly.
