The MK-2551A/U provides a safe path to discharge lightning, enhancing safety of personnel and equipment. It also helps
to control noise in signal circuits. The total resistance-to-ground ratio is equal to or better than that of a single ground rod,
allowing the equipment to better survive a lightning strike than a single ground rod.
