2-5. Preventive Maintenance Checks. Periodic checks should be made based upon environmental
conditions such as temperature, humidity, blowing sand and dust, rain and snow. Unusual or abnormal
conditions will require checks at shorter intervals. Preventive maintenance checks will require a walk-around
check to determine if damage requiring maintenance is required. Refer to Table 2-1 for maintenance checks
and services intervals.
2-6. Services. Services are limited to checking for adequate lubrication of the door latching mechanism.
Refer to Table 2-1 and Figure 2-1 for inspection intervals and for lubrication instructions.
