REMOVAL CONTINUED
43. Connect hydraulic pump hose (Figure 11, Item 5) to cylinder (Figure 11, Item 1) on hydraulic pump
(Figure 11, Item 3).
44. Connect air hose from remote air compressor to quick disconnect fitting (Figure 11, Item 2).
WARNING
Keep hands clear of ram on bead breaker during operation.
Stand to the side and not behind the bead breaker during operation. Bead breaker
operates under high pressure and can come off of rim with force if dislodged during
operation.
Ensure that hook on bead breaker remains in notch on rim. If hook begins to come out of
notch, retract bead breaker and reposition hook.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
45. Position cylinder (Figure 11, Item 1) between ring (Figure 11, Item 9) and machine frame (Figure 11, Item 7).
46. Press down on hydraulic pump foot pedal (Figure 11, Item 4) to extend cylinder (Figure 11, Item 1).
47. Release hydraulic pump foot pedal (Figure 11, Item 4) to retract cylinder (Figure 11, Item 1).
48. Using assistance, rotate tire/wheel (Figure 11, Item 10) 180 degrees.
49. Repeat steps 45 through 48 until rear bead (Figure 11, Item 8) is broken from hub (Figure 11, Item 6).
