LEAK CHECK AND CONFIDENCE TEST PROCEDURE

Always keep in mind caution and warning. Review those in the front of this manual. Handle the High Pressure Nitrogen
Servicing Cart like you would any other high pressure pneumatic equipment. See Table 2-1 for normal preventive
maintenance checks and services.
Within the designated interval, these checks are to be performed in the order listed.

Remove filter bowl and inspect for
less than 1/4 in. Level of water. Fill
bowl with water and verify valve

Visually inspect tire, valve stem and
wheel. Check tire pressure and
inflate to 60 psi.
Tire is flat, has
cuts or bruises.
Wheel is bent.
Remove wheel assembly from axle
to examine bearings. Clean and
repack as necessary.

Gauge damping fluid in
gauges G1 or G3 (see
Inspect gauge face plate. Refill with
glycerin (item 9 of Appendix D) via
blow out plugs to within 1/4 in. From
top of gauge face plate.
